Honeymoon Sep 2016
After the wedding on Jul2016, we started on our honeymoon journey on Sep2016 for whole three weeks in Europe (Fly to London, England -> train to Paris, France -> train to Zurich, Switzerland -> train to Venice, Italy -> train to Rome, Italy -> bus to Pompeii and Capri -> bus back to Rome and fly back home, Singapore).
We spent 6 days at London with 1 day tour to Stonehenge / Bath / Windsor castle.
It's London, Baby!
It was around 10am and our hotel check in time only at 2.30pm so we went to King Cross St. Pancras station hoping to see the famous Harry Potter Platform 9¾ where students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy catch the Hogwarts Express.
If you have watched the movie, Harry Potter and his friends get onto the platform by walking through a brick wall between platforms 9 and 10. Meanwhile in the real King’s Cross, platforms 9 and 10 are separated by tracks, but we can find a platform 9¾ on the wall in the station concourse.
My friends and brother have already gave me an headsup that there will be a long queue just to take 1 photo. Since we have time to spare, we gave in to queuing.
We queued for around 45min to get this epic fail shot lol
Our hotel was only 5 minute walk to King Cross station so we started to wander around the streets and we managed to find Mr Mime (when pokemon go craze was just started). That's also when I slightly sprained my left ankle when chasing after Mr Mime -.- gg
Luckily, my husband brought tigerbalm everytime he goes oversea and it really worked like a charm (my ankle recovered within days). We checked in the hotel and took a nap (jetlag) until around 7pm before we headed out to grab some dinner nearby.
Mac breakfast!

Having hotdog bun on London Bridge overseeing Tower Bridge.
Headed to Borough Market for lunch but it was closed on Sunday. Only 1 or 2 stalls are opened.

We booked for Windsor, Bath & Stonehenge Tour with Entry & Free Lunch with Golden tours. We were very disappointed as their free lunch was 1 six inch subway with only vegetables... no meat at all.. We had to be at the pickup gather point before 7.40 am and the queues were very disorganized due to multiple queue for different tours. We have been distributed with the vegetable subway at around 11am but I had totally no appetite to eat as it looked like shit. We only managed to buy hotdog bun when we stopped at the Bath at 1pm. Then we reached stonehenge at 3pm and back in london at 5pm. Services total sucks and strongly not recommend to take up this tour.
Windsor castle
Roman Baths
Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument which consists a ring of standing stones. Archaeologists believe it was constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC but how it was built is still a mystery today.
Returned to London with disappointment
Breakfast with a view
A famous spot of wedding photoshoot but it really stinks here
Went back to Borough market
At National Art Gallery
On our last night here, we had Burger and Lobster!
The next morning, we were catching Eurostar to Paris at 7.55am. We reached the king cross station super early and we went to the platform 9¾ again. It was total empty lol!
